Solar Power Project

If you witnessed Australia’s border villages in PNG, you would be shocked at the living conditions of our Papua New Guinean  friends. Isn’t it in our best interest as Australians to improve living conditions of foreign villages on our borders.
Australian Quarintine is a joke unless we look after our neighbours just 3 kilometres and a traditional trade agreement between Australia and PNG is the only barrier to illegal immigrants, contagious decease, drug and weapons smuggling.
The problem is most acute in remote areas: 89 per cent of people in rural Papua New Guinea & sub-Saharan Africa live without electricity, which is more than twice the proportion (46 per cent) in urban areas.

For these people, even access to a small amount of electricity could lead to life-saving improvements in agricultural productivity, health, education, communications and access to clean water.

A Place in the sun

The Earth receives more solar energy in one hour than the world population consumes in an entire year.

Get Involved and help coastal PNG villages live better lives with the aid of solar power.
